About Me
Hi! My name is Isabel Flores (as you probably have already guessed by now) and I am currently a Digital Content Producer/MMJ in Buffalo, NY. I am 22 years old and am ready to keep navigating through my journalistic journey. I love reporting and really getting to know a community through its people (and its food). I have done a lot of traveling these past few years for my career, and have really loved getting to take in so much new information, sights and sounds. I love to learn and luckily, I tend to learn quickly. I have become a more well-rounded journalist for not only producing on-air/television content, but for producing radio and social media content. While I do love being a reporter, I hope to someday become an anchor or an anchor/reporter. For more information on my journey, keep reading!

Bachelor's Degree:
Double Major in Media Communications and Psychology
For my Bachelor's Degree, I decided to stay in my home state of Florida. Being so close to the Georgia border, it was the first time I had been a long way from home. I really enjoyed my time at the university because it really allowed me to dip my feet into the world of editing. This also helped me with building up my production skills as well as social media management. I graduated early with a Magna Cum Laude Distinction.
Syracuse University
(2022-2023)
Master's Degree:
Broadcasting and Digital Journalism
I was accepted in to Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications. The school was my top choice not only for its reputation, but for the supportive network it offers students after they graduate. I was really able to build my on-camera persona and get helpful feedback on my writing skills which helped to make me a stronger reporter. Even though I was only there for about a year, I made some long-lasting memories not only on campus but in the city as well. I completed my Master's degree in Broadcasting and Digital Journalism in August as part of the school's expedited Master's program.
Experience
I have always been a journalist at heart. After professionally integrating myself into the field, I've been able to take advantage of so many great experiences. I've reported for both radio and on-air mediums in places like New York and Washington, DC in both English and Spanish. I can't wait to see where my journey takes me next!
